You’re invited to attend “Da Wada Brought Us and Kept Us” Gullah Geechee Exhibition Artist Talk & Closing Reception on Tuesday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m, Avery Research Center - Charleston, SC.

This exhibit, hosted in partnership with the Avery Research Center will feature over 20 works of art from emerging and notable artists, whose compositions derive from a broad range of styles and stories, conveying the collector’s love of her Gullah Geechee culture.

Exhibition Curator Victoria Smalls and Historian Dr. Kim Long will host this event. Mahoganee will perform after the artist talk.
